The Prince was also shown samples of coral, deep-sea fish, crustaceans and sea stars from the Australian Museum’s Fish Collection and CSIRO. Prince William, second in line to the throne, had a good background for the tour – he received a 2.1 from St Andrews for his Master of Arts dissertation on the coral reefs of Rodrigues.
