Welcome to The Striped Trumpeter, a round-up of stories, videos, journal articles, reports and data from the NESP Marine Biodiversity Hub.
This newsletter showcases the diversity of Marine Hub research, which has ranged from microalgae to whales, and from rivers and estuaries to the deep-sea and global ocean.
A particular focus has been our work with Parks Australia to gather and share knowledge of Australian Marine Parks. This includes new research findings, non-technical summaries in the form of ‘eco-narratives’, and fly-through videos and high-resolution maps that capture their complex topography. The image of mobile dune fields in Bass Strait’s Boags Marine Park is one of our favourites.
